I really am sad this is discontinued. I have not run across any St. Ives product that I do not just LOVE, and this one is included. It's a very nice pick me up and does the job. I keep it in the fridge. The cucumber smell is very pleasant and not overpowering, and it just FEELS so good on your face!

THIS MOISTURIZER HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED.
I wrote to St. Ives about it, and they said it had been discontinued "due to low consumer demand." I was so disappointed because it worked great for those of us with oily skin.
However, I found a replacement that I may end up liking even better. It's Vaseline Aloe Fresh Moisturizing Gel. It is oil-free and is absorbed quickly with absolutely no greasiness.
Just thought I'd mention it here for anybody looking for a light moisturizer to take the place of this St. Ives product.

Well I find this product amazing too. I would apply a very thick layer before retiring at night and I wake up with smooth, line free and hydrated under eye areas! :) I dont find it stinging or anything like that if applied close to my eye tho, which is another plus point. I only use it at night tho coz it can be quite sticky for day use. Price is super cheap, packaging is OK for me. Will definitely repurchase :)

My mom has had a tube of this inexpensive cucumber based gel in her cabinet for years so I finally tried it. Meh. It's cheap - but you get what you pay for. It is OK for the eye area - especially if you are younger or have oily skin. It is not hydrating enough for anyone with an anti aging goal.
It is, however, non-comedogenic (won't clog pores). And that's a good thing. And it's very cheap so you won't waste alot of money if you decide to try it. continued >>

been using this for over a year
ive repurchased twice or thrice..
it was decent for its price.
eyes area werent so dry after applying it
i use it before i go to sleep cuz it tends to make my eyes area look like real greasy when i use it in the day thanks to the hot weather in my area.
sometimes my eyes hurts and stings when i apply. just be careful not to let it get into ur eyes then itll be all good :)
im still looking for my holy grail eye gel tho

Incredible stuff. I'm quite a nightowl & this gel works like a charm to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines, puffiness & dark circles & make my complexion look more refreshed. Now that I've found my HG eye gel, surprise surprise, it's been discontinued (as is the case with many beauty products that we have grown to love over the years). At the moment, I still have quite a lot left in my 4oz tube, but I honestly don't know what I would do once I've run out. Hopefully, I would still be able to get some old stocks at the local drugstores or on eBay. continued >>

I'm not sure why I even purchased this product because I don't have dark circles or bags under my eyes. Anyway, I didn't notice any type of change on puffiness either. Sometimes I have morning undereye puffiness, but that fades away quickly whether I use this or not. I do like the cooling sensation it gives and that it's clear though. The good thing is that this is inexpensive, and it's a large size considering it's marketed for the face so I didn't feel like it was a total waste.

Product Description:
Now St. Ives captures these secrets in a soothing gel that hydrates and revitalizes skin, minimizing the effects of stress like lines, puffiness and shadows.
Actual Product Pic:
Texture & Scent:
This eye gel is quite runny, yet it doesn't spread as well as the usual eye gels! It gets kind of "sticky" open application, but that feeling disappears after awhile. I'm not a fan of the strong perfumy scent, but it disappears upon application as well, so it's alright.
Packaging:
This eye gel comes in a squeeze tube with a flip top cap.
I dislike the huge dispensing hole though!! This product is rather runny, so it's quite silly to put such a large hole there!
Time Test:
It takes less than a minute for this eyegel to be absorbed completely!
Price & Availability:
This product is priced at RM26.90, which i think is dirt cheap for such a huge tube!! It's available at most Watsons / Guardian outlets and on Amazon.com
Usage:
I use this eye gel twice a day around the eye area. I also use it to clean up residual makeup sometimes!
My $0.02:
I was looking for an effective eye gel when i read good reviews about this on MakeupAlley. I decided to give it a try, since it's so cheap and i won't feel the pinch if it doesn't work! After using this for a while, it did minimized my fine lines and especially my puffy eyes, but did nothing for my dark circles. I dislike how it stings too when some product gets into your eye (which is a huge NO-NO for all eyegels!)!
In a Nutshell:
An affordable drugstore eye gel that works ok! :)
Likes: Easily absorbed gel, did minimize some of my fine lines and eye bags
Gripes: Stings when it gets into your eyes!
Repurchase: Maybe
Rating:
3.5 Stars ! Not bad product! :)

I really, REALLY like this stuff. I moisturize in the morning with my Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E gel, but always use this around my eyes, and it definitely helps with the puffiness. It also helps my makeup go on smoothly over my under-eye circles! I keep mine stored in the 'fridge so it feels extra soothing going on. It's definitely worth it for such a low cost.

I love this and find it works great with or without makeup to firm and smooth my no longer 27 year old complexion! It's a quality product at a great price. How disappointing to learn that it has been discontinued. Perhaps we should start an email campaign to St. Ives asking them to reconsider!!

I have this gel for about 2 years now. The bottle is still half full. I have really heavy bags and dark circles and this doesnt do much for the darkness. But for the puffiness it does take it down a bit. It feels good when applying it but it doesnt really work that well for me. Still looking for that hg eye treatment but for the price it's not bad at all. Really worth a try.

Whoo hoo!! This moisturiser is my staple. Smells fresh and de-puffs my eye area, it also soothes my irritated skin on a hot day. Its cheap too! Love it!

The best part is smell. Mild, fresh cucumber.
Cheap and big size. The only eye gel/cream I know use a 4oz container.
Working ok on my eyes. I don't have big problems, sometimes dark circles. And they are gone if I use this before I go to sleep.
Sometimes I use it as a face mask. Just as Aloe vera gel.
I used to buy it on drugstore.com, but now I can't find it anywhere.

I keep this in the fridge and use it as mask on the mornings when my face is puffy. I have breakfast while it dries and then I just wash it off. This stuff works incredibly well at bringing down the occasional morning puffiness in my face. On top of that it helps me wake up! The only inconvenient thing is that I can only find it online, so when I buy it I buy several at once.

Interesting product. I purchased it when I was going through some drama, and had to attempt to go to school and work pretending like I wasn’t just balling my eyes out. It is cool to the touch; it really feels like everything is being perked up, however, I wouldn’t say the results are amazing. I haven’t had any problems using it under make up. There’s a lot of great suggestions here! I will try it in the fridge. As others stated, it works well as a moisturizer, with the soothing plant extracts a plus. My only point of concern is the added fragrance. Although nice to the nose, I worry about highly fragranced products on the face. In terms of price, it I good for the amount of product you get (40z) compared to other eye treatments.

This is great stuff if you have sore eyes or you've been crying. It's very cooling and refreshing and helps puffiness. The only problem is finding it-I live in NZ so have to get it shipped in from the US-it's hard to find a store that sells it and ships it here.

I put this in my fridge. so when i apply it on my skin its cooling for the 1st min, and i like that, i personally feel it helps chill down my eye bags. however probaby i have sensitive eyes, it hurts and a lil tears would fall. so i use this slightly closer to my cheeks still eye area. Didnt do much for me though. really wanted to like this as i love the brand, furthermore its attractive low price, not gona repurchase :/

I bought this from drugstore.com, but have also seen it in local drugstores in Singapore. It's a decent sized bottle with plenty of product for an eye cream at a very affordable price (around $8.90 SGD, or around $7USD). Packaging is simple but functional - a plastic bottle with flip-top cap and the gel is clear. The gel itself has a pleasant, mild cucumber smell that isn't irritating. It absorbs into the skin quite easily and doesn't leave it sticky or tacky.
I really wanted to like this product because of the good price, but it didn't work for me at all. After several weeks of near daily use at night, I didn't notice any reduction of my eyebags or dark circles. It also left me with quite a lot of millia seeds around my eye area, the only area I used this product. Since this was the only new product I tried, I'm pretty sure it's this one. My skin is normal-combination, slightly sensitive but not acne-prone.
I swapped it off and would not repurchase. continued >>

I've never seen this in stores until my bf brought it home from work (he works in a warehouse so he brings in anything that's "damage" but has a very mild dent in the packaging) So yeah, GREAT stuff, I keep this in the refridgerator so it feels cool when I put it on, it's very soothing! I wear this under my makeup and it doesn't slide or smear my makeup, just have to let it soak in and dry before putting on makeup, of course ;-) It's great for when you don't have time to put cucumber or a cold spoon over your eyes cuz it dries so quick. Great for reducing puffiness!

An HG multi-purpose product! I'm sad that the only place I can find this is drugstore dot com, I wish I could find it at my local drug stores. That said, it is worth searching for. I formerly used several products on my face: an eye cream, a toner, and a moisturizer. This does it all, and works better on my eye area than anything else I have used. I use this every day. After washing my face, I apply this all over my face, but concentrate on my forehead, under eyes, and eyelids. I also dab it under my eyes when and if they start getting puffy again.
With prolonged use, not only has it kept my eyes smooth, but my skin looks fresh, toned, and healthy. While this is not a wrinkle cream for sure, it has reduced the severity of some of the lines on my forehead.
It even reduces puffiness after a good, hard cry - and I am one of those people who gets indcredibly puffy for a while after I cry.
Better than any eye cream or gel that I have spent as much as three times as much on, for sure.
